Hi! My name is Gabrielle, but most know me as Gabe. I am a Whatcom Community College student going into the Physical Therapy Assistant program. I am blessed to say this is my second year as a WWU Peer Minister! Time and again I have experienced and witnessed the importance of community in our faith and I love getting to help create that space! They say Saints come in groups- so lets be Saints! I look forward to another year of growth, meeting new people, and walking with students in the adventure of life. In my freetime I enjoy riding my motorcycle, learning about the body and pushing its limits, music, the outdoors, and adventures with the homies. ¨As long as faith gives me strength, I will always be joyful¨ - Bl. Hello, my name is Ryan! I am from Port Orchard, Washington. It is my third year at Western in pursuit of a computer science degree. I am married to my beautiful wife, Ellianna and have a baby boy named Lawrence. I will be focusing on making the liturgy beautiful here at Viking Catholic. This year I want to support and encourage the men of our community to sanctify their everyday lives, especially as students. Excited for the year to come!
Hi, my name is Michael Petris! I'm going into my second year as a Peer Minister for Viking Catholic. I’m a senior and will be graduating in December. I’m excited to finish my time at Western with friends, walking with them in faith. Viking Catholic is an incredible place to find like minded people who share the common goal of becoming saints! I am excited to focus on our hospitality at the Newman house and beyond this quarter. Last of all, I challenge anyone to a card game of War as I am undefeated. Best of luck, you will need it.
